If you live near Philadelphia, be sure to check out the cafe events. And if you are looking to plan an event, why not consider the garden center? Totally charming and unique - and you wouldn't have to spend a dime on flowers!
Loving the totally whacky, mixed up vibe of this Hue ad
Pure Joy and Excitement and Elation. The words that describe how I felt when I heard about the new book "The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Style: Creating Iconic Looks and Making Them Your Own" which hits bookstores on October 7.
I have pre-ordered my copy.

broke & happy
(The first pair by Shannon Britt, the third, Miu Miu)
and...
colored tights with summer shoes (why wear them only when its warm out? I'm pretty sure twice as much wear means you can justify spending twice as much money, people.)
get your tea cup swap on (it's been a while)
the secret password is: justmycupoftea (shhhh...)
SIMPLY STUNNING.
Here's what I purchased:
(The execution, of course, will be completely different. Picture a ruffle-y purple blouse under that number. Cute, right?)
Two other ways to wear it?
OR
printed bow tie blouse at Banana Republic
silk geo print ruffle top at Banana Republic
conveniently, i own both tops already
(ps, the skirt has to be taken in a bit, so i'm going to see if the tailor can make me a little red belt!)
Juicy Couture Mallard top. (PS: I have a rule: If I can think of at least three ways to wear something this pricey, I can just justify buying it. 1. With my red pants wool from J-Crew. 2. Under my belted navy sheath dress 3. With jeans and my new Juicy swing coat on the weekend. Done and Done)
why be ordinary? you'll probably only get married a handful of times in your life.
Very reasonably priced and available @ Pretty Good Things.
I am so obsessed with Kat MacLeod. Her fun collage illustrations make me giggle with glee (and give me wardrobe inspiration, to boot!). In fact, I recently purchased a copy of [my favorite book ever] "The Cocktail" that was a little to shabby to be given as a gift, so I tore it up and framed all of the pages and hung them all over my apartment:
Exhibit A:
(This is but a small sampling).
Then I went on a bit of a Wall Art Binge.
Exhibit B:
You can get one just like this at Ork Posters
Exhibit C:
This vintage number arrived in our pink exchange box with strict instructions from Joy: "The scarf is meant to be framed!" I gladly obeyed.
(post dedicated to Angie who chuckles when I say "wall art")
so, so perfect for wedding cake toppers, bridal showers, baby showers and pretty much any kind of celebratory affair.
simply perfect for the Ladies Social Society pot luck picnic this Thursday

I am basically in love with every chair that Chairloom "reuses and reinvents"
(This is a hint to my suitors...The way to a girls heart is via her living room decor, you know.)
